Online reputation
Everything you do online builds up a record made up of posts, comments, images and videos. Every post you make, every comment you add goes onto that record. That video of you pranking a neighbour, the photo of you looking very drunk, all of it.

You can delete things but "The internet never really forgets" - once something has been shared a few times it is practically impossible to remove all evidence of it existing  - it will still be there on someone else's feed or page, and that's ignoring all the back up of sites, and traffic logs (which are much harder to look through but...)

You might think so what? But employers search social networks before giving someone a job.

If you have posted or live streamed something that employer doesn't like, or have made offensive comments etc then you are much less likely to get the job.

Your online self will affect your real world self so basically "Be Nice Online"
