Pre - Production documents
On any project before you can start the making stage you need to go through the analysis, planning and design phases. For multimedia products such as videos, animations, websites, sounds, comic strips and graphics there are a number of documents that help with these pre-making stages. They are known as pre-production documents and are shown in the diagram.
The audience for pre-production documents is always the designers, the people planning and making the product.

There is often a question on this in the exam - it is a trap question designed to trick you into writing the customer is the audience of a pre-production document, it isn't, it is always the designers.

There are other audiences for some of the documents too which will be discussed on the individual pages, but it is never the end user or the customer.
