Using If and If Else in Scratch
If is a very powerful tool in programming. It lets us create a program that says if this happens, do this otherwise do this other thing instead.

A simple example would be asking the user the question what is better red or blue, then switching costumes to whichever colour they chose.

This is an example of the idea of  selection and conditional execution where part of the program only runs when a certain condition is met.
