Scratch Projects Help
The various sections on this page are meant to help guide you through some of the Scratch projects you might end up making in school. They link to the other Scratch Skills pages on this website. They will not give you a step by step guide to exactly how to make it and they will not give you all the code you need to make it , they will just help you find the most appropriate section on here for what you are trying to do. You might think why have I been sent to a page when you click on a link - watch the video and ask yourself how can I use this skill to solve the problem. All images used on this page are from scratch.mit.edu
Maze game
- Making the sprite move
- Making it stop at the end of the maze / switch to next level (suggestion have a sprite as the target)
Racing Game
- Making it race on a track (use background on stage for track)
- Ending the race / next level (use a colour as the end point, and a variable for lap count)
Space Invaders type game
Hint - build one alien fully with all code then duplicate it
- Moving players character
- Making aliens move side to side
- Making aliens drop (use change y by 10)
