Video and Audio
Videos can make a page more interesting and they are dead easy to add. You can add video from internet pages such as youTube and Vimeo, or videos you have saved on your computer. They all use the same screen:

It is fairly self explanatory... but there a couple of things worth pointing out:
- Use the YouTube / Vimeo video box only for videos on those two sites, it doesn't work with other sites
If you are using another internet page, you need to get the address of just the video, not the whole page it is on if you want just the video to display. An alternative is to add a link to the webpage where the video, so the whole page opens. You can do this with an image, text or a button (don't use the video audio object if you are opening the whole page)
- You can set the video to autostart in the Start type drop down. This will then play when the page opens.
- Alternative text will put text on the screen if the video is unable to display
Audio
You can add sounds the same way, either link to the sound file on your pc, or link to the internet address of the audiofile. Be careful with sounds on a website, they can add real value for example a sound file of bird song on a bird watcher web site, but if they have no real reason for being there then they can be very annoying and will remind people of the early days of the internet (and look very amateurish as a result). I do not advise having audio playing automatically unless there is a very good reason to do so.
